          John Briggs and Declan O'Donnell have been playing music together since early middle school where they aspired to form a band.  The two practiced guitar and other instruments in the school hallways, outside on picnic tables, and at their homes with fellow musicians and wrote songs, sometimes together, progressively seeing that a band was possible. They then welcomed percussionist Dominic McFadden, bassist George Flagg, and Violinist Cecilia Garvey allowing them to enrich their sound and discover new musical possibilities. 

John and Declan were both heavily influenced musically by their fathers who provided aspects of 60's and 70's rock, jazz and traditional folk music.  With this influence they have created a unique sound incorporating characteristics of contemporary music.
